About the Amsterdamse Bostheater
The Amsterdamse Bostheater is an open-air theatre, located in the middle of the woods, not too far from the Amsterdam city centre. In summer, it’s the place to go for theatre performances, movie nights, and concerts. Get out of the city, and into nature! On a sultry summer evening, you can enjoy the best music and theatre performances cooled by the end of day breeze.
Our organization is led by a small team of professionals. The team expands towards the summer months and is then reinforced by more enthusiastic colleagues and volunteers.

Remuneration policy
The Bostheater applies the Fair Practice Code. In the context of Fair Pay, we work in line with the ‘Nederlandse Podia’ Collective Labor Agreement for all employees. Depending on the assignment and duration of the assignment, an employment or assignment agreement is concluded with freelancers. The remuneration of freelancers is calculated based on the classification in the collective labor agreement with a freelancer surcharge of 50%.
